Summary of Position
BEMA Information Technologies is a highly recognized provider of IT and Software Services to churches, schools and medium-sized businesses. We are 23 years old, have grown without a sales force and do not advertise. Our consistent growth comes from hiring people who are technical, communicate well and perform at a high level.
Purpose
We are seeking a Software Developer to help our team support specialized CRM’s and church management systems. The best-qualified candidate will have a passion for helping organizations solve problems and document processes.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
• Work directly with clients on setting development goals
• Write clean, scalable code using SQL, C#, Vue.js, or Liquid programming languages
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Use Rock RMS to meet client needs
Needed Attributes:
• High-level experience with SQL, database migrations, and data integrity
• Familiarity with C# (Webforms knowledge a plus)
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail oriented in order to keep detailed documentation on development projects
Other Valuable Skills:
• Experience working with church member management software (Arena, F1, Rock, etc)
• Knowledge of front-end development using jQuery and Bootstrap
